Using 10 datasets as proxies for post-colonial power structures to build a predictive model of state political instability and journalist killings. Examines how legacy colonial relationships continue to shape contemporary governance failure.
Roadmap for Change — Cycling Safety ABM
Agent-based model simulating cyclist behaviour from 110 sensor-recorded trips to identify unsafe infrastructure hotspots across Amsterdam. Key finding: 93.9% of hard braking occurs away from traffic lights — infrastructure quality is the primary safety risk factor. Presented at Innovation Centre Amsterdam.
Street Utopia — 30 km/h Policy Platform
Co-built a data-driven platform for European policymakers advocating 30 km/h speed limits. Conducted stakeholder analysis, focus group interviews with Amsterdam municipality officials, and a narrative persuasion survey experiment.
SISTEM-NL — Microplastic Filter Adoption
Qualitative study assessing microplastic filter adoption across Amsterdam through 8 interviews. Performed thematic coding and network analysis in Atlas.ti.
